On Water

Then he made his disciples get into the boat and precede him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds. After doing so, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When it was evening, he was there alone. Meanwhile the boat, already a few miles off shore, was being tossed about by the waves, for the wind was against it. During the fourth watch of the night, he came toward them, walking on the sea. When the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were terrified. “It is a ghost,” they said, and they cried out in fear. At once, Jesus spoke to them, “Take courage, it is I, do not be afraid.” Peter said to him in reply, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come on the water.” He said, “Come.” Peter got out of the boat and began to walk on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw how strong the wind was he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and caught him, and said to him, “Oh you of little faith, why did you doubt?” After they got into the boat, the wind died down. Those who were in the boat did him homage saying, “Truly, you are the Son of God.” (Matthew 14:22-33)
This is perhaps my most profound teaching as the Son of God. I am both the light of God and the human being as each one of you are. I say to you this, all things that the Son Of God can do are possible for each of you as you carry the light of my Father. All things. Know that the same power of God that lies within me lies within you as you hold that power incarnate. You as God’s children can channel the light of the Holy Spirit to manifest creation on earth. To believe that you cannot do so is sinful. To know of this power is not a mystery as you all would think. It is but the expression of light through your willingness to surrender your soul’s purpose to that of Divine Providence. It is simple; may my Father’s will be done; in heaven, as it is to be on earth. May my Father’s will empower your own strength of Him through you. May you believe that through Him, the will of the highest good is not only possible, but is certain to manifest in one of the realms of existence within my Father’s house.
Understand that the human body is nothing more than shelter for the spirit of God. Walking on the water to assist those that needed me, it was not I, Jesus the man who came to them. It was I, the Son of God, the Christ, and the risen Spirit who went to their assistance. To human eyes, this is a miracle. Yet if one has an understanding of the spirit, then one can know that this was not a miracle, but an expression of essence that was transformed from matter into light; which is something that the Christ energy in all of you can accomplish. To ready the spirit to create what you refer to as a miracle does indeed take patience and practice of the spiritual life. You already understand the concept of transforming light into matter, for it is something you have chosen to do the moment you created yourself on earth. Do you not think that you can accomplish the opposite? I have showed you many times, not just in my death, that this can be possible. Only you have chosen to focus on my death as the moment of the risen spirit and have attached much human suffering to that. Indeed there is much joy in the risen spirit, and there are many times when I have shared with you how to allow that possibility to enter your human experience. To do this would change the attachment so many of you have to your suffering, and I understand so well the hardships of human existence. I also understand the glory of the risen spirit.
You say you have faith in my Father, yet when a manifestation of His love occurs naturally, some of you curse it as evil. Then you need for the miracle to prove that it came out of love. I do say the human mind is complicated. When my disciples saw me on the water, the fear of the risen spirit was so great not because of what I was doing, but because they could not believe that this is what they could do. To bring oneself to believe in the power of the risen spirit, one must completely surrender all aspects of the mind to God. To perceive that one has the limitless capability of God is to bring to one’s mental awareness the power that the love of God can create. To feel the love of my Father in one’s heart and soul is a little easier than to think the love of God in one’s mind. For if one thinks this power truly exists, then that would leave men the ability to create out of love and not fear. The responsibility of that love alone is too much for the simple man to carry. So we start from the beginning and grow slowly in the faith that my Father has rewarded you with.
When my disciples realized it was me coming towards them in the boat, they too believed that this miracle as you would call it might only be from the hand of darkness. To say that it came from light would challenge them to take responsibility for their own light. So they tested me, or in actuality, they tested my Father. Peter said to me, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” What he was really saying, was “Lord, can you carry me to your kingdom, can I trust that you will not abandon me?” Do remember that I, Jesus the man, have had those same feelings towards my Father. When I instructed Peter to come to me, I was calling forth his risen spirit to draw forth the energy needed from his physical body to create the miracle of walking on the water as I had done. He indeed understood what I was doing. As with many of you, he let his mind’s fear overpower that of his risen spirit. The winds were only a manifestation of his thoughts of fear, the chaos created when the risen spirit comes forth in order to create miracles on earth. Chaos as you would refer to it will always happen when the risen spirit is called to appear. This is because the vibration of energy that it sources from is higher than that of the earth plane and there has to be a compromise of the energies to work its created purpose. When you become accustomed to the risen spirit creating miracles for you, the chaos will no longer be looked upon as that, but merely as a shifting of spiritual consciousness. Again, I understand this takes time, and as I have said, I know we have plenty!
As Peter began to sink in the water, it symbolized his heart closing to the glory of my Father’s faith in him. Indeed, faith works not only in relationship to that which we hold in esteem of my Father, but to that which He holds in esteem of us. He did not begin to sink because of the winds or because my Father or I did not want for him to be saved. He began to sink because he did not allow for the light of faith within himself to create life. Think about that, dear children.
When he cried out for me to save him, of course We did. But he failed to realize the true meaning of his experience when he looked upon me as the miracle maker and Son of God. If he understood about the risen spirit within himself, the power of that spirit to draw forth life, and the miracles that power can create upon complete faith, he would have not needed me at all to save him. He would have seen the kingdom already within him. He would have felt my Father’s faith upon his heart knowing that the one true God already knows of the possibilities that He created for the human form. My Father believes in the risen spirit that breathes in you. How long will it take for you to believe?
To create light out of matter is something that we are all taught to do on our soul’s journey. It will be at the precise moment of God’s knowing when this understanding will serve you. Do know that this form of transmutation or alchemy is not defined by earthly paradigms, but more by those laws that serve the higher dimensions of the world of spirit. The knowledge of that concept is the least important at this moment in time. The understanding that you already possess within you the ability to shift your consciousness in relation to the earth experience to that of the risen spirit and back again is of extreme importance. To do this will assist your physical beings in opening up to this alchemical knowledge on a cellular level. It will allow for practice of this spiritual discipline so that you too, will some day indeed walk on water. Until then, the understanding that you possess this risen spirit that can be called forth at any time is one of the most healing things you can do for your souls.
