Journey
Of The Heart

Hello, I would like to tell my story of how my heart journied to God. I was critically ill with an anureysm in my arota and had to have an aorta by-pass along with a femoral by-pass and gall bladder surgery all in one surgery. The surgery took over nine and one half hours. I don't know what happened in surgery, but I came out a different person. I was seeking spirituality to live by. I don't know how I came about this, but in the Intensive Care Unit after the surgery they asked me to stand and with some help I stood up. I knew from that moment on I would make it.
The doctors had little hope for me and I survived one day at a time. I was released from the hospital in four days and sent home to die. Instead of dying I started getting better and better. I was studying shaminism at the time and I was getting reviews from my doctor that said I don't know how you are still here, much less how well you are doing. The spirituality had taken over my life and I let it. Soon I would be studying hinduism and I kept getting better and better with each visit.
The spiritual way of life is the way I live now. My spiritual life comes first and everything else comes second. I have traveled to India several times once on my own and my spiritual eyes were opened for little glimpses into the spirituality. Now I am taking my husband to India who has been diagnosed with cancer and will have surgery when we return in three weeks.
Things are not always as they seem. If you put Spirituality first in your life then everything else will fall into place. And in my study of Hinduism there are so many gods that you can have your very own. My spirituality is not like
everybody's I've been down some very hard times, but made it through with the help of the gods and goddesses. In the study of Taoism I learned about Kwan Yin, the goddess that hears the cries of the world. So no matter what you study or what you follow always follow your heart. I followed mine and it has led me to some beautiful foreign lands. Where I met other people and learned other cultures.
